Abba Father, thank you for this another new day in which to walk and talk with you. Thank you for this another new day in which to serve you by serving others. I submit my will to your good will that your good will be done in my life for the sake of others and our joy. Make me an instrument of your blessing to all whom I encounter today. Fill me with your Holy Spirit to overflowing so that all whom my life touches today may see something of you when with me. May they see Jesus in me by what I am, say and do today. For this is your good will both for me and for all whom my life touches today. Grant me the courage to speak the good news boldly, but with gentleness today. May many hear the good news about salvation and put their trust in you today. For this is your good will, that no one should perish, but that all have eternal life in Jesus. Abba Father, change me into the likeness of Jesus. Do your good work in me so that I become more and more like him. Search me and know my anxious thoughts and see if there is any wicked way in me and lead me in your everlasting ways. Thank you for your forgiveness of my sins which are many. Thank you that you are in the process of changing me to be more like Jesus. This is my only hope of salvation. To be like Jesus. To be indwelt by your Holy Spirit and to walk in your ways. This is my prayer. Amen.
